Voters may once again be asked to weigh in on Medicaid expansion.

Fifty-six percent of voters approved Medicaid expansion in 2022, including a constitutional ban on restrictions that would narrow the scope of coverage. Republican lawmakers want voters to clarify, this time regarding work requirements for Medicaid recipients.

We hear from Democratic leadership about these requirements and other legislative priorities, including an antisemitism bill and free school lunches.

Sen. Reynold Nesiba is the Senate minority leader. Rep. Erin Healy is the assistant minority leader in the House of Representatives.
