It’s official – People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has beef with the city of Spearfish.
In a statement, a PETA representative describes the city’s name as “violent.”
PETA delivered a letter to Spearfish mayor John Senden offering to display their fish empathy quilt in the community. The 300-square-foot quilt is composed of dozens of squares made by PETA members and supporters.
