The McGovern Center at Dakota Wesleyan University and Braver Angels are holding a series of fall events to bring people of opposing political views together.

The focus of these events is on sharing different perspectives instead of changing minds.

Joel Allen, Ph.D., is a professor of religion and philosophy at Dakota Wesleyan University. He's also the director of the McGovern Center. Aletheia Underhile is a DWU student and a member of Braver Angels.

The next Braver Angels event is on Monday, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m., Central Time, at Dakota Wesleyan University. The topic is "How Can We Best Revive Our Dying Lake." It will also be livestreamed at dwu.edu/live.

On Oct. 30, Braver Angels will bring Rich Logis, founder of Perfect Our Union, to Dakota Wesleyan University.
