Analyzing the legislature's actions taken on Veto Day

This interview originally aired on In the Moment on SDPB Radio.

The South Dakota Legislature met in Pierre Monday for the final day of the 2023 legislative session to consider bills vetoed by Gov. Kristi Noem.

Lawmakers voted on four bills. Each vote came up short of the two-thirds majority required to overturn a veto.

SDPB's Lee Strubinger was at the Capitol on Veto Day, just like he was throughout the legislative session. He joined In the Moment to break down what happened on the last day of session.
