New South Dakota COVID & Politics Survey

NPR

In The Moment … October 21, 2020 Show 925 Hour 1

What measures are South Dakotans taking during the pandemic to mitigate the spread of the disease? How long do we think the disruption from COVID-19 will last? How do we feel about our elected officials as the election draws ever nearer?

Now a new survey of the South Dakota electorate helps clarify some of those attitudes and actions. David L. Wiltse, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Political Science at South Dakota State University. Filip Viskupi?, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at SDSU as well. The research partners join us today to go over the results of their survey.

Reporting on politics and public policy is supported by the Center for Western Studies at Augustana University
