On today's update...

Tuesday is primary election day in South Dakota. Every state legislator is up for re-election. Many of the legislative candidates who win today will be unopposed in November.

With severe weather over the weekend West River, officials are confirming a tornado touch down in the rural countryside. The National Weather Service reports the small twister touched down in Meade County and gradually moved west of Faith.

A new University of South Dakota survey shows more than 50 percent of voters support Constitutional Amendment G. The amendment reverses South Dakota's abortion ban.

Representative Dusty Johnson's recent visit to a West River coffee shop was about more than grabbing a cup of Highlander Grogg. Johnson is focusing on the government's role in supply chains and shipping reform.

A more eco-friendly fleet of buses are coming to some South Dakota communities. People's Transit in Huron and Prairie Hills Transit in Spearfish are employing propane buses.
