More than 250 high school students gathered at Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls to discuss civic values with their U.S Congressman. Rep. Dusty Johnson’s Level Up Youth Conference offered a chance for students to ask questions and learn skills like respectful political engagements.

In an effort to address growing demand for their services, LifeScape is breaking ground on a 200,000 square-foot children’s campus in Sioux Falls. Over the last three years, state lawmakers have put $14 million toward the project.

South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks commissioners add more than 100 non-resident waterfowl licenses for next season. The topic was the largest point of contention at the department’s latest commission meeting.
