Roe v. Wade has been overturned for long enough to begin seeing the ramifications firsthand. New research is already showing some communities have bee hit harder than others.

A federal court case was dropped after the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Court reversed its decision banishing two Dupree School District employees. The district is not affiliated with the tribe but sits inside the reservation borders in East River.

The Sioux Falls School District, already navigating the legal waters of attempting to cut the school gymnastics program, says they'll look to "adjust" boys' participation in sports.

South Dakota's Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons coordinator has held the job for the full year. The Oglala Lakota lawyer says the first year has flown by.
