On today's update...

The Sioux Falls School District will be enforcing its school lunch policy after a donation campaign aimed to erase that debt. While school officials say nobody wins in this situation, a true solution would need to come from a higher legislative level.

With the first semester closer to finished than started, the Rapid City Area School board took some time to assess. In the superintendent's report, some challenging subjects once again returned to the floor.

Authorities in Spearfish are looking for the public's help after a hit and run left a pedestrian seriously injured. It happened Saturday morning on Airport Road.

The Pierre City Commission is tightening rules regarding special alcohol licenses within city limits. These are short-term licenses meant only for special events.

A small stone quarry on the west end of Spearfish has spurred a special election. The Black Hills Pioneer reports the quarry could pull up to 30,000 tons of limestone yearly.

And more.
