The state Senate is quickly moving a bill that modifies several provisions of the state’s trust law. It’s the first since a block buster report that detailed the state’s trust law.

South Dakota Senators have reinstated one of their own, after a brief investigation into a harassment claim. Republican Senator Julie Frye-Mueller was suspended from the Senate after leadership became aware of an interaction with staff.
