On today's update...

Yesterday brought record high temperatures for West River. Downtown Rapid City reached 105 degrees. That set a new daily record that hasn’t been reached since 1934.

So far this year there have been 561 severe thunderstorm warnings issued in South Dakota. That is more than 100 over the previous highest number of recorded warnings for the first six months of the year.
