South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem has issued an executive order instructing the state’s Department of Education to review its teacher trainings, content standards and other educational materials to ensure they are devoid of “divisive concepts” on race.

House lawmakers meet next week to consider whether to impeach Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg for his involvement in a fatal car crash. One lawmaker who will cast a vote on impeachment says he offered legal counsel to Ravnsborg days after the incident.

Senator John Thune’s legislation to reform international shipping regulations has passed the Senate. Thune says the Ocean Shipping Reform Act is meant to ease pressure on the global supply chain. It improves the flow of goods from producers to consumers.

South Dakota’s 14 and under hockey team is the winner of the USA Hockey Tier II National Championship. The team beat the Alaska Oilers yesterday 6-3.
