Watertown's 'The Disc Shop'

From the late 1940s through the Mid 1990s, The Disc Shop was the center of record sales in Watertown. Chuck Olson was proprietor for most of those years and witnessed the end of the 78- RPM disc, the introduction of the 33, 45, and eventually the compact disc. He followed music trends and his store was a meeting place for young people and their interest in Rock N Roll.
