South Dakota's annual safe driving contest for teens kicks off

The State Department of Social Services has announced the beginning to the eighth annual Lesson Learned Teen Safe Driving campaign.

High school students between the ages of 14 and 19 can take a safe-driving quiz from now until April 30.

Each student to complete the quiz will have their name submitted for a chance to win $20,000. The prize is then divided between the individual student and their respective school.

The campaign is sponsored by the South Dakota Office of Highway Safety and the South Dakota Broadcasters Association.
