Commuters along US Highway 18 west of Canton can expect to see delays starting Monday, March 18th.
The section of Highway 18 between Canton and I-29 is being remade from a two-lane roadway into a four-lane highway.
Department of Transportation officials said this area has seen a significant increase in traffic volume, and this project looks to alleviate travel time delays as the region continues to grow.
The project’s completion date is August 2025.
