The South Dakota Department of Transportation is activating temporary traffic signals during Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

The signals will operate from Aug. 1 to Aug. 14. They’ll be set up at busy intersections across the northern Black Hills.

Speed limits will be reduced on state highways near the rally.

Message boards and speed trailers will also be along the interstate.
