A home exploded near Fort Pierre, killing three and injuring two.

It happened Wednesday morning just south of town.

Stanley County Sheriff Brad Rathbun said the cause of the explosion is still under investigation, but foul play is not suspected

“At the present time we have two people who are deceased at the scene, LaDonna Hupp, 61-years-old, and an infant girl," Rathbun said. "Later at the hospital Bill Hupp, 66-years-old, succumbed to his injuries and passed away. We have two juvenile boys that were moved to different hospitals for burns.”

The infant, Harper Hupp, was six months old.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for the Hupp family and can be found here.
