"Father Peter" Died Doing What He Loved

A Black Hills Catholic priest who was killed in a small plane crash is remembered as a man of deep faith who also loved life.
 
Bishop Robert Gruss says Father Peter Kovarik was a priest for 23 years who was well loved in the Black Hills.

Father Peter, as he was known by many, served as pastor for several Black Hills Catholic Churches.

The Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Rapid City hosts a Vigil Service for Father Kovarik on Thursday, December 4th at 7:00pm with a Funeral Mass on Friday the 5th at 6:30pm.
