Huron Postal Processing Center On Chopping Block

If you see workers picketing in front of your local post office Friday morning – it’s not a strike.   Rather postal employees are expressing their opposition to plans to consolidate a number of processing plants nationwide… including one in Huron.

A mail processing facility in Huron is one of 82 nationwide slated for closure by July. Post office officials say it’s necessary to meet budget requirements.
