Farm Bill Eyes Final Hurdles

Members of South Dakota’s Congressional delegation say new a farm bill is about to become law.
 
The issue has been tied up in congressional gridlock for several months--leaving many in the agriculture industry frustrated.

But the U.S. House  approved a conference committee version bill Wednesday.  The U.S. Senate is expected to follow suit in the coming days.
