Department of Health Announces 10 Mass COVID Test Events

The state Department of Health is hosting COVID-19 drive-thru testing events in ten cities across South Dakota. The mass testing events are scheduled over the next two weeks. They’re open to the public and free of charge.

People must pre-register online at must print the test voucher and bring it to the drive-thru site.

The health department is partnering with the South Dakota National Guard, the Office of Emergency Management, and the United States Department of Health and Human Services to offer the tests.

The first event is Tuesday the 10th in Pierre. The nine other events are scheduled in Aberdeen, Chamberlain, Custer, Madison, Martin, Mobridge, Spearfish, Watertown and Yankton.
