The U.S. Small Business Administration and the Treasury Department released loan-level data Monday about the Paycheck Protection Program.
For loans of $150,000 and more, the release includes business names, addresses, business type, demographic data, non-profit information, the name of the lender, the number of jobs supported, and loan amounts in ranges.
For loans below $150,000, SBA is not listing business names or addresses.
The Paycheck Protection Program was established by Congress during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Loans from the program are intended for businesses and nonprofits with 500 or fewer employees. The loans may be forgiven if all employee retention criteria are met, and the funds are used for eligible expenses.
