The Pierre Governors girls wrestling team made history at the 2022 state wrestling championships by winning the first girls team wrestling title in South Dakota history.

The individual portion of the 2022 state wrestling championships concluded on Friday with 38 kids, and three schools, claiming state titles.

The 2022 State Wrestling Championships began Thursday in Sioux Falls at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
