The Department of Health is asking South Dakota residents to participate in a survey to evaluate health-related needs across the state.
The Maternal and Child Health Needs Assessment Survey allows officials to use real data to improve maternal and child health services.
Melissa Magstadt, Department of Health Secretary, said the department’s ability to improve health services relies on being able to see what challenges people are facing in South Dakota.
“By completing the Maternal and Child Health Needs Assessment Survey, residents of South Dakota have a direct opportunity to shape the future of maternal and child health initiatives in our state,” she said.
The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete, and all responses are confidential.
