The state Department of Health reports one-thousand-and- four new South Dakotans have contracted COVID 19.
 
Eight more South Dakotans have died. The latest numbers bring the state’s death toll to 446 individuals.
 
480 South Dakotans are hospitalized. That’s a sharp increase of 80 people.
