HPV Vaccinations

Dr. Maria Bell leads Sanford Health's Gynecologic Oncology team. A new study by the CDC says that those who get their HPV vaccinations are at a much lower risk for some cancers and infections (cervical cancer is often times caused by HPV). In fact, since the vaccine became available and was recommended as a routine vaccine for females four years ago, incidents of infections dropped by almost 60 percent.
