Augustana University is seeking to make its study abroad courses more sustainable. We learn how and why the college made its J-term courses carbon neutral.

Craig Spencer, Ph.D., is an ecology professor emeritus at Augustana and has led multiple J-term courses to Guatemala, where the Bio-Itzá organization helped make this program possible.

Erin Kane is co-director of international programs at Augustana University.
