The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has released their winter weather outlook for the country.
We get a local look from Andrew Kalin, a hydrologist with the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls. He says they can't predict much about winter for this region, but snow is in the forecast this weekend for parts of the state.
We also explore ways to prepare now to have a safe season.
