Another round of funding for new electric charging stations is available through the South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

Federal, state, and local governments, as well as businesses and nonprofit organizations are encouraged to submit an application for the Volkswagen Electric Vehicle Charging Station Program.

Applicants must be installing new light-duty electric charging stations in South Dakota. Approved applicants could be reimbursed up to 80% of the cost through this program.

This is the third round of applications. The deadline is Feb. 16, 2024.
