Students interested in seeking federal financial aid for college can now apply.
Application for Federal Student Aid forms, or FAFSA, for the 2024-25 school year are now available.
A spokesperson for the South Dakota Board of Regents said recent changes to the federal system means more students than ever may qualify for federal need-based aid.
Completion of the FAFSA is also required for many South Dakota Scholarships, including the Freedom and Build Dakota scholarships.
