This interview originally aired on In the Moment on SDPB Radio.

The Knudson School of Law at the University of South Dakota plants the flag for respect and solidarity — nine flags, that is.

Neil Fulton, dean of the Knudson School of Law, discusses the tribal flags now displayed in the school's courtroom.

He says the flags should have been displayed earlier and explains why their installation is a step forward for the community.
