The University of Sioux Falls is reporting record-high enrollment this year.

USF officials announced Wednesday they welcomed 308 first-time freshman this fall – their largest freshman class ever.

The school’s total undergraduate enrollment also reached a record at 1,164 students.

“Our professors get to know students on a personal level and serve as their mentors and advocates,” said Aimee Vander Feen, vice president for enrollment management. “This, along with the personalized campus experience, brings great value to USF students.”

Another big marker for USF this year – the university is celebrating its 140-year anniversary.

“USF has a long-standing history of providing high quality education – 140 years to be exact. Today more than ever I think students and their families value the personal and engaging education USF offers them, and understand how it sets them up for success, both professionally and in life. These enrollment numbers demonstrate that,” said USF President Brett Bradfield.
