SD attorney general's office starts new digital investigation unit

The 2025 state budget has been approved. Included in the $7.3 billion budget is funds for the South Dakota Office of the Attorney General.

Programs that will receive funding include a new digital investigation unit, cybersecurity services initiative, and grants to organizations that assist abused children.

Attorney General Marty Jackely shared more details on the new digital investigation unit. He also previewed possible upcoming summer studies related to the attorney general's office.
