Human trafficking: What to look for and how to report

While an unfortunate reality, officials say trafficking incidents occur daily across the United States.

With large gatherings such as the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and hunting season coming up, incidents of human trafficking may increase in South Dakota.

Mary Beth Holzwarth, South Dakota human trafficking coordinator with the Division of Criminal Investigations, is on a mission to prevent this crime. She says there are some key things to look for when determining what could be a potential trafficking incident.
