Got extra plants, cuttings, or seeds? Let it go and bring them to the library’s Plant Swap and trade with fellow plant lovers! All plants are accepted: houseplants, flowers, vegetables, succulents, etc. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting your plant journey, this is a great chance to share, swap, and grow your collection. Connect with fellow green thumbs, exchange tips, and leave with new leafy friends!

Story Time
Story Time introduces your child to the incredible world of language and books through stories, songs, and activities. This program is designed to help prepare your child for successful school experiences using early literacy components and is a great opportunity for your child to develop social skills and make friends. Topics and themes change each program. Story time generally lasts 30 minutes and no registration required. Caregivers are expected to attend.
When: Every other Wednesday, starting January 15th through March 26th

Pie and Bingo!
Come to the library and play a few rounds of bingo, win prizes, and enjoy a slice of pie with friends as you listen to a guest speaker or musician from the community. Everyone is welcome. No registration required.

Get ready for the ultimate summer kickoff at our Color Our World Summer Reading Bash on Thursday, May 22nd from 4:00-6:00 PM! Join us for an explosion of fun with games, cotton candy, sno-cones, a good bouncing time in the bounce house, and so much more! Come take pictures with your favorite characters, including “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” and the Dinosaur from” How Does a Dinosaur” Series! It’s a party you won’t want to miss! For this show, the artists have been working on a wide range of nostalgic imagery including video games, toys, movies, games, snacks, tv shows, candy, beverages, commercials, hobbies, restaurants, and more! Currently the ages of artists at SCAC range from 23 to 75 so you can only imagine the variety of artwork that has been created!

With that, we invite you to join us to experience a night out filled with all things joyful and reminiscent of years past! Check out the details below!

bb’s Natural is going to have a featured dessert for the night that will undoubtedly bring out your inner child

Black Hills Vinyl will be spinning the very best throwback tunes

Garbage Tale Vintage is going to be slinging the best vintage around

Annnnnd our 25+ artists will collectively have HUNDREDS of new pieces of art out! They’ve been working diligently and the whole gallery will be reset with brand new works, all of which feature nostalgic imagery ranging from the 1920s to the early 2000s! Talk about range!

There will be refreshments for all to enjoy as well as gifts with purchase!
