The exhibit will include storyboards and photos about how the game developed, baseball cards, the history of the tune “Take Me Out to the Ball Game,” and how baseball has impacted society and the arts. There will also be information about historical or current area baseball programs, including the Basin League, Spearfish Sasquatch and Belle Fourche Youth Baseball.

The exhibit will also include a touchscreen quiz and a take-home workbook.

Young people who visit the exhibit on opening day can enter a drawing for the book, “Baseball History for Kids.” Kids on baseball teams who come to the opening in their uniform can have their photo taken with the exhibit.
