International Women's Mountain Biking Day

International Women's Mountain Biking Day

Join us on May 4th for an International Women's Mountain Biking Day bash hosted by Acme Bikes and SRAM Field Guide Emily Brown! The day starts at 9:30 for a group ride on the Skyline Wilderness Trails, welcoming all skill-levels and inclusive of E-MTBs.

After the ride meet back at Acme for a parking lot party, enjoy refreshments and good eats from ‘Time to Fika’ sponsored by Acme, check your suspension, and ask bike tech questions at the Acme tent, practice your wheelie at the SRAM tent, and socialize with other women riders of the Black Hills over lawn games!

This event is intended to promote and build community around women's mountain biking: female-identifying and non-binary riders of all ages are welcome; there will be options to shorten or lengthen the group ride to tailor it to the comfort level of all riders in attendance!

Acme's main parking lot will be set up for the post-ride social; we suggest riding to the event if you are local, there is limited parking available north of Acme's building, and additional parking on the east side of Jackson Blvd and across the street behind Sonic and a signal controlled crosswalk at the W Fulton street intersection.

This event is part of the Dahl Mountain Culture Festival happening in and around Rapid City on May 4th and 5th.
