Deep Talks: Nobel Day

Deep Talks: Nobel Day

What makes the sun shine? What invisible forces hold our universe together?

These are the questions that cosmologist Neta Bahcall worked on alongside her late husband, theoretical physicist John Bahcall. Together, they wrote more than 30 scientific papers. Today, Neta Bahcall continues to do research and teach at the Institute for Advanced Physics at Princeton.

Join us for a celebration of Nobel Day with Neta Bahcall on Thursday, Dec. 8.

Neta Bahcall will present on John Bahcall’s many contributions to fundamental physics research as well as his work in neutrino astrophysics, which influenced countless experiments and projects for more than four decades, including the Solar Neutrino Experiment at Homestake and the Hubble Space Telescope.
