Dakota Prairie Concerts: The Gesteland-Smith Duo
The Gesteland-Smith Duo will present "To Everything There Is a Season," featuring music for voice and organ. Dr. Tracelyn Gesteland, mezzo-soprano and professor of voice/opera at the University of South Dakota, and Dr. Wyatt Smith, a concert organist with South Dakota roots, have performed all over the country and in the United Kingdom. They are at the forefront of commissioning new works for this rare combination of forces, and several of those pieces will be performed as part of this concert.
