In celebration of National Fossil Day the World Fossil Finder Museum invites children and families to a special paleontology themed afternoon at the museum on Friday, October 13th.

The event, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., will have free admission to the museum and will feature activities that "dig" into the world of paleontology. Children will learn what a fossil is, have the opportunity to dig and identify fossils in our dig pit, and learn more about paleontology. Visitors are welcome to bring rocks and fossils for a scientist to identify. Food will be available from local vendors so you can eat dinner and explore.

During this event, the museum will also be hosting a museum membership drive. We will be providing free guided tours to give visitors a glimpse into what our amazing little museum offers.
