Black Hills Community opens its 55th Season with Average Family, the family friendly comedy by South Dakota Native and 2020 MacArthur Genius Grant Recipient Larissa FastHorse. The Roubidouxs may come from Indigenous heritage, but they are your typical technology-loving, city-dwelling family. When they are “randomly” chosen to compete against a rustic working class family on a reality tv show - tasked with living off the land of a Minnesota prairie for three months - they are in for a real culture shock.
