Governor Kristi Noem and South Dakota Secretary of Health Kim Malsam Rysdon has provided daily information to the press and public regarding the spread of coronavirus in the state of South Dakota. Some people have said that information has not been transparent enough, but state officials repeatedly point to privacy concerns regarding who has been infected and where clusters of infections are.

Mike Wagner has traveled the world working with organizations, teams, and executives on the challenges of leadership and culture. He earned a Masters in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School and a Bush Foundation Leadership fellowship. He's a former South Dakota state lawmaker and founder of the blog uncommonwisdom.org.
