South Dakota Department of Transportation officials are seeking public input into a study on a U.S. Highway 16 Corridor in the Black Hills.

The study is a collaborative effort between South Dakota DOT, Rapid City, Pennington County, and other stakeholders.

The study aims to address future needs as the area sees an increase in population development and traffic.

A public input meeting will take place on Nov. 2 at Black Hills Energy. For those who are unable to attend, the South Dakota DOT will upload the study information online.

For more information about the study or to submit a comment visit South Dakota DOT's webpage here.
