Governor Kristi Noem's executive order lasts from June 10-July 9.

Gov. Kristi Noem has issued an executive order exempting certain liquids being transported through South Dakota from federal regulations regarding drivers’ hours of service.

This aims to address supply shortages for liquids such as gasoline, jet fuel and propane, according to a press release issued by Noem’s office.

Fatigued drivers are still not allowed to continue deliveries without rest.

The 30-day order continues until July 9 and declares a state of emergency.
