Educating workers especially those who are at risk of being mistreated

The interview posted above is from SDPB's daily public affairs show, In the Moment with Lori Walsh.

The Naomi Project was founded 5 years ago. Its mission is to educate workers, largely immigrant workers, about their rights in the workplace.

Jordan Bruxvoort founded the project and Carmen Vega is the outreach coordinator.

This project was inspired by a story straight from the Bible where Naomi helped her daughter-in-law Ruth better understand her rights as and immigrant and as a worker.
