The Black Art Bash 2024's theme focuses on celebrating how African Americans have impacted the arts scene of a nation. We preview the event with a conversation on culture and arts here in South Dakota.

Tyra Hawkins is the assistant director of diversity, equity and inclusion at Augustana University and the coordinator for this event. Julien Beaudion is the vice president of NAACP Sioux Falls and executive director of South Dakota African American History Museum.
