The South Dakota Department of Veterans Affairs, Midwest Honor Flight and Wreaths Across America will host a wreath laying ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 16.
The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery Committal Shelter in Sioux Falls.
"During this holiday season, we look forward to providing some Christmas cheer to our veterans and their families by participating in Wreaths Across America," said South Dakota Veterans Cemetery Director Erin Brown. "This year, we will be laying over 350 wreaths.”
After the ceremony, guests are encouraged to help place the wreaths at all the veterans’ graves.
