This interview originally aired on In the Moment on SDPB Radio.

Poet PW Covington is in Sioux Falls to create what he calls a "concert film." What is that? In his words, it's an HBO comedy special but with South Dakota poets instead of standups.

Ahead of an event at the Full Circle Book Co-op, Covington stops by the SDPB studio to reflect on poetry, politics and French press coffee.

Plus, he reads a few of his original works.
