This year's Miss South Dakota title belongs to Miranda O'Bryan.
O'Bryan earned the crown and sash with a jazz-rendition of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" as her talent and a Rapid City reading program as her community service initiative.
She joins In the Moment to discuss her crown and "Page Turners: Fall in Love with Reading." Her program has donated over 10,000 books, started a podcast and put up Little Free Libraries around her community.
O'Bryan said she encourages anyone considering joining the competition to reach out to her for mentorship and guidance.
