The Black Hills National Forest is hosting special nighttime walks, called "Moon Walks," on Saturdays close to a full moon from June to September.

Moon Walks are a family-oriented way to learn about the natural and cultural history of the Black Hills. They are about one-mile round trip.

The Black Hills National Forest says about 100 people have attended each walk in the past.

The first Moon Walk of the year is on June 3 at 7 p.m Mountain Time. The other walks will be held July 1, Aug. 5 and Sept. 2.

More information is on the Black Hills National Forest website.
